  • The Passion of the Christ

    The Passion of the Christ

Here is a new work, a modern interpretation of The Passion of the Christ.

It is an “album” which details Christ’s Passion, from Gethsemene, through to His Death on the Cross.

Complete with bible quotes and synthesizer usage, it is perhaps best described musically as a “soundscape”, or “audiodrama”.

At all points, the aim is to be respectful to Christ’s Passion, being an “in-faith” depction of Jesus’ struggles at this time, through to His Victory on the Cross.

The Passion of the Christ playlist is available on the Youtube link below.

Hail Jesus – Contemporary Catholic Hymn

I have a kind of first draft of a hymn. It’s called “Hail, Jesus”, and is about Jesus being the path to salvation.

I like to think we are all on the path in some way, it’s just that some of us have chosen to move away from Jesus, rather than towards Him. But that doesn’t mean we can’t adjust our positions mid stride.

And for those who feel they are on the right path, perhaps it is important to recognise that a narrow path is hard to follow, and can be lost easily.

So I guess the hymn is about hope in Jesus, but also not falling into complacency.

I have decided to dabble a little in some Catholic music. I’ve been making a series of Christian shorts, alongside some longer songs.
This first one is a short song called, “Receive His Grace”.
