    I have put “Morning Dew’, my album, up on bandcamp.

    Really, it is an album about the separation from my wife and daughter, which I would classify as atmospheric avant-garde nocturnes, which its favouring of dark , moody synths, and the use of cello.

    Here is one track off the album: “Waters Light Blue”.



    The separation from my daughter has been particularly painful. The tribunel court ruled that I could only see her for two hours every two weeks, a ruling that has been based on a mental health diagnosis that I have, which only affects me 3 weeks on average per year. This decision seems odd to me, and is not based on my actual functioning, which is extremely high.

    So the album really revolves around this separation pain.

    A simple worship song. This one has been a while in the making. I experimented with chords, before reverting back to a simple harp progression, which I think sounds better.

    “Unseen Base” is a journey through the sea, and also life. Not every journey ends well.

    This is a song about, and for, my daughter, who I am separated from. I’ve take some of my original songs, and remastered them a little, as I attempt to make them a little more complex and inviting to the ear.

    I think I have been making a bit of music that might fall under slowcore, but this song I feel is a little bit too soaring for that category. So, I have just called it a slow building ballad.
